Atrizin® is an antihistamine preparation containing Cetitrizine Hydrochloride. Cetirizine is a piperazine derivative and potent functional antagonist of histamine H1 receptors causing long acting antihistaminc action. Unlike conventional or 1st generation antihistamines, central sedation or antimuscarinic effects do not generally occur with the usual doses of Atrizin.
