( Esomeprazole Tablet )
Opton® is a S-isomer of omeprazole. It is a specific inhibitor of the acid pump in the parietal cell. Opton® is indicated for the healing of erosive esophagitis,long term management of esophagitis, symptomatic GERD & in combination with antibacterials for the treatment of duodenal ulcer associated with H.pylori. Dosage schedule is 20 or 40 mg once daily for 4 to 8 weeks.
